GRACE HILL BIBLE UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES COUNSELLING DEGREE PROGRAM

Grace Hill Bible University based out of New Jersey, which celebrates ten years this year, and seven years on St. Maarten, will be having its student orientation on Friday February 6th at 7 p.m. at Heaven’s Touch International Ministries in Hope Estate, across from Yuppies Gas station.

The University is also launching a new counselling degree program which is being spearheaded by its director, Dr. Erna Mae Francis-Cotton.

This program has been birthed out of the fact that many are emotionally, psychologically and spiritually challenged in our society and within the Church; as a result our families and communities are experiencing dysfunctional and unhealthy relations. Grace Hill’s counselling degree program provides the prospective student, lay person or minister with the fundamentals of Christian Counselling to be able to address these growing trends.  This two-year program utilizes internationally accepted and evidence-based approaches for effective counseling, from a Biblical and Christ-centered world view.

The degree program covers topics such as:

·         The Fundamentals of Biblical Psychology
·         Utilizing Energy Psychology in Counselling
·         Introduction to Christian Counselling

·         The Fundamentals of Marriage Counselling
·         Spouse Abuse-A Treatment Program for Couples
