Draft 2015 National Budget to be Available Online. Budget debate to be Live Streamed from Parliament Website on Thursday

Members of the public, the business sector, and those residing abroad will be able to download from the Parliament website the draft 2015 national budget on Thursday. The site is currently down for reconstruction.

The Parliament website – www.sxmparliament.org – will be back online on Thursday in time for the start of the budget debate.  Residents and those residing overseas will also be able to follow the budget debate via live stream.

The Central Committee of Parliament will meet in public session on January 22 at 9.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda for the meeting is the draft 2015 National Budget.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberation.  Copies of the draft budget were distributed to the Members of Parliament on Friday, January 16.

 

The draft 2015 National Budget is set at Naf.445.000.000 with investments and capital goods set at Naf.111.031.451.

 

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.

 

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com.
