Santa reads to children at the PJ Library

Last Friday, on December 19th, 60 children ages 3 to 12 from the St. Joseph School and the Sister Borgia School were in the library for a storytelling session and were treated to a surprise visit by Santa Clause. During his visit, Santa read from the children’s books “A Very Marley Christmas” by John Grogan and “The Night Before Christmas” by Clemente Clarke Moore. Of course, Santa Clause did not leave without giving party bags to all of the visiting children. Each year, in anticipation of the holiday season, schoolchildren are treated to this special Santa storytelling session at the library.
