Ton Moon is the new Chief Public Prosecutor ( HOvJ ) St.
Maarten. The National Council of Ministers ( RMR ) is today, Friday, December 5, 2014 ,
approved the nomination.
Mr. Moon begins on January 1, 2015 in his new role and following Rick
Noordhoek that due to personal circumstances, honorable discharge
granted.
Mr. Moon (1959) is currently Deputy Chief Public
Prosecutor at the Prosecutor eastern Netherlands . Previously, he was from 2011 to 2013
employed at the Regional Prosecutor Arnhem – Zutphen as Chief Public
Justice Zutphen (within government responsible for Policy & Strategy
and Police Region North and East Gelderland).
Mr. Moon comes with a lot of experience to Sint Maarten. He was at
the National Public Prosecutor both in Rotterdam prosecutor responsible
include the fight against subversive crime. in
Amsterdam he was team leader of the team serious organized
crime.
The Public Prosecutor ( OM) is delighted with the appointment
by mr. Moon as Chief Public Prosecutor at the same time and thanks Rick
Noordhoek for his hard work .
