UTS introduces free minutes for credit usage

UTS introduces a new program for its Chippie brand of mobile service, where customers will get free minutes every time they use their Chippie phone; just by using their Chippie prepaid credit. “This is our way of thanking customers on a consistent basis for their business. Every customer has a choice in which mobile service provider they choose and Chippie wants to show its appreciation for the trust our customers place in us when it comes to meeting their mobile communication needs. Chippie is known for constantly having different fun, attractive offers, and we will continue to do that, but Chippie also wants to reward its customers on a regular basis just for using their Chippie service.” says UTS Marketing and Communication Officer, Ivy Lambert “The free minutes will be issued for all types of credit usage. Whether it’s for local calls, international calls, SMS messages or data service activation. You don’t even have to do anything to make use of this offer. Just keep using your Chippie phone like you always do. Free minutes are issued automatically and they are also used automatically. No complicated codes or activations.” Lambert continues.

The free minutes received are valid for calls to other Chippie numbers, do not roll over and expire 7 days after issuance. The free minutes will be accumulated on the ‘secondary’ balance of the prepaid account. To check the secondary balance, Chippie prepaid customers can call *91. The offer is currently available for Chippie prepaid customers of St. Maarten with a planned expansion to various other markets in the eastern Caribbean. The offer excludes customers in a Chippie Company Calling Group because they already have the benefit of unlimited calling within their calling circle.
