Legal Advisor Management Advisory Council
The Advisory Board , a High Council of State , the last advisory body of the Government of St. Maarten,
particularly with regard to legislation. The Advisory Board shall be heard among more on all drafts
land regulations and land decisions concerning general measures, and on proposals
Rich Laws and Orders in the Kingdom.
Main tasks :
The consultant conducts scientific research in administrative- / legal field. The opinions on proposals
laws and regulations shall be given to include the quality of the laws and regulations. Here
Looking at the beleidsmatige- , the legal and technical legal issues.
This is a fulltime position .
Job requirements:
· A completed training in law at university level ;
· Knowledge of legislative drafting ;
· At least five years experience in a policy advisory function ;
· Understanding the administrative and social context of the functioning of the Council;
· Knowledge of national and international laws and regulations;
· Skill in conducting research, reporting of research and drafting memoranda and
advice;
· High level of integrity and discretion;
· Property of Dutch nationality.
Terms of employment :
· Remuneration in accordance with scale 13 of the Remuneration Scheme Officers. The other status regulations
for public servants employed by the Sint Maarten apply;
· Education and training .
A psychological test may be part of the selection procedure. Candidates who intend to comply with the
