Royal Islander Club, La Terrasse staff receive RCI Diamond Award

Royal Islander Club Front Desk Clerk Kimany Bernard and La Terrasse Housekeeping Supervisor Valina Albert are recipients of the 2014 RCI Diamond Award, presented annually by timeshare exchange company RCI, a division of the firm Wyndham Worldwide.

The Diamond Award recognizes their commitment and dedication to their duties and the provision of friendly and excellent customer service to vacationers at the two properties.

The management of Royal Island Club and La Terrasse are very proud of the achievement of Bernard and Albert. They said the two continue to show that teamwork and dedication are the cornerstones of individual and overall company success

Bernard and Albert have demonstrated “the highest level of customer service and impeccable team spirit,” say the resorts.

Bernard has been with Royal Islander Club since 2008. He was a nominee for St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA) Crystal Pineapple for Excellence award for Employee of the Year in 2013.

Albert joined La Terrasse since its opening in 2003. She was nominated for the Crystal Pineapple for Excellence award for Supervisor of the Year in the trade category in 2013.

Bernard and Albert are ecstatic about the recognition and credited it to their hard work, attention to detail and the team effort of their two properties.

The RCI Diamond Award recognizes the people behind the resort for providing well-deserved attention to guests and timeshare owners who are the heart and soul of a vacation property. It is offered every year to a resort’s operations team member who continually goes above and beyond what is expected, exudes a positive and friendly attitude and provides RCI exchange guests and owners with the best possible service experience. Only 250 to 300 people receive this Diamond award each year.
