Great Bay, St. Martin (August 27, 2014)- The island of St. Maarten will soon have a Mobile Medical Clinic that will go through the various districts offering basic medical care to the residents. The mobile unit is equipped with an examination room, bathroom, reception area and waiting room.
The Mobile Medical Unit has already been shipped after a representative from the Social & Health Insurances inspected it before approval for shipping.
“Focus on prevention screening in the community in cooperation with foundations like the sickle cell foundation and other foundations/medical schools that we do community outreach with,” said Minister of Public Health Social Development & Labor, Cornelius De Weever
