USFOL Volunteers Serve Curaçao’s School Communities

Volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) continue to serve community projects on Curaçao. Twenty-two volunteers spent the afternoon of June 20 putting fresh coats of paint on the school building in Otrabanda.
This project was completed in partnership with the Goslinga School administration and teachers. Equipped with paint, rollers, and brushes, the volunteers painted the interior and exterior of the Goslinga School in preparation for the 280 students who would return for the next school year.
The men and women at the USFOL are frequent volunteers in the local community to express appreciation for the two countries’ friendship and the wonderful hospitality they have received from the people of Curaçao.
