Detectives are presently investigating a case involving a man who has severely beaten a lady he has a relationship with. This incident took place on March 22nd around 05.00 p.m. at his home in South Reward. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Sint Maarten Medical Centre for medical treatment for the wounds she suffered. The suspect in this case, a 20 year old man, was arrested and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where he remains in custody for further investigation.
