The Police Internal Affairs is presently investigating an off duty police officer who was in a heated dispute with a taxi driver and allegedly pulled his service weapon. This incident took place on Tuesday February 18th at approximately 02.15 p.m. in the Simpson Bay area. During this dispute both parties had caused damage to each other cars and the Police Traffic Department was notified to investigate the matter. The Internal Affairs was also sent to scene to conduct an investigation because it was not clear what exactly took place. The Internal Affairs is presently investigating this matter to bring clarity to the situation.
