Prime Ministry Receives Update on Civil Servant Integrity Activities Planned for Late February

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy visit from Tammy Richardson from the Department of Kingdom Affairs and Interior Relations, charged with the Integrity Program of Government and Diane Hickinson, who is contracted to organize an event catering to Civil Servants as part of the Integrity Program. The Courtesy Visit was centered on informing the Prime Minister of the ongoing project and the event planned later this month catering to the Integrity Program for Civil Servants. The Prime Minister stated that it is the aspiration of Government that within the next five years there will be a higher level of commitment to the level of integrity for the entire public service in operating in accordance with the Integrity Policy of St. Maarten and observing the principles of Good Governance; "In doing so to we will support the development of an honest, well trained, impartial, structured and reputable public service rooted in the principles of integrity; a public service capable of professionally serving and meeting the constitutional needs of the citizens of St. Maarten," emphasized the Prime Minister.
