Mr. Edison E. Rijna is appointed deputy governor for the public entity of Bonaire as of March 1st 2014. The Rijksvertegenwoordiger for Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba, Wilbert Stolte, made this decision on February 5th 2014.
Mr. Rijna, born on July 7th 1967 on Bonaire, has a wide experience in banking and at this moment he is managing director of Bon Recycling B.V. Before March 1st he will resign from this position.
Because of the resignation of the present governor a vacancy occurs as of from March 1st. The procedure for the appointment of a new governor has already started.
