The Ministry of Public Health Social Development & Labor as of January 1, 2014 have enforced the non-smoking legislation (AB 2013, GT no. 229) within all of the ministries buildings.
"As ministry we have to set an example to the rest of the community, and by enforcing a smoke free zone I hope that the business community will follow suit and do the same," said Minister of Public Health Social Development & Labor, Cornelius De Weever.
The public is hereby informed that "No Smoking" signs will be noticeable in all buildings where the ministry offices are housed. This is being done in an effort to promote "Clean air for all."
