The St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with the Government of St. Maarten held it’s first of a series of symposia entitled "Symposium; Business Opportunities & Best Practices in Economic Development and Sustainability".
Dutch Ambassador to Panama, Mr. Wiebe J. de Boer delivered the keynote address at the symposium.
During the symposium a signing of a TRi-lateral Agreement took place between the Chamber of Commerce of St.Maarten and the Ambassador, marking closer ties with the region.
The Prime Minister of St.Maarten Mrs. Sarah Wescot-Williams gave the opening remarks for the symposium.
The Minister of Public Health, Social Development & Labor was also in attendance of the symposium.
