On Saturday October 26th the St. Maarten Table Tennis Federation (SMTTF) hosted the 2nd Round of the Governors Cup 2013. His Excellency Drs. Holiday was present and gave the youth present some great words of encouragement in his opening speech.
Young Josiah built on his 1st round victory with an undefeated record of eight (8) wins and zero (0) losses and won the final battle against Shemar Arrindell who finished in 2nd place with seven (7) wins and one (1) lost.
His Excellency Governor Holiday applauded the players with the progress in their play since the last tournament in August and commended the players on the level of play and some of the intense rallies during the tournament.
The board of the SMTTF federation thanked His Excellency Governor Holiday for his support and also the companies and persons that sponsored the event.
