The Windward Islands Bank Ltd. (WIB) was very pleased to provide a donation to assist Mr. Villeneuve Junior King, who leaves on Sunday for training at one of Florida’s top ten baseball academies. Villeneuve, who plays center field, started playing in the St. Maarten Little League and might just be St. Maarten’s next professional baseball player.
Villeneuve has now finished his schooling in St. Maarten and is looking to move on to a US college to continue his tertiary education. While at college, Villeneuve’s goal is to continue playing baseball and eventually go on to become a professional baseball player. Going to this training academy in Florida will definitely improve his chances at achieving his goal of succeeding at the highest level in the sport.
