Story Time on Recycling this Saturday at the Library

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be hosting its monthly, Saturday, story time at 11:00am on Saturday, September 28.

Every last Saturday in the month, the library conducts story time sessions for visiting children in the library.

This Saturday, storyteller, Morela Hodge-Houterman will be reading from one of the library’s children’s books called "Recycle Everyday!" by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace. Children will learn how little Minna works hard to find the perfect entry for the recycle contest at her school.

After story time, there will be a hands-on arts & craft activity for all of the attending children to do. Mrs. Hodge-Houterman will demonstrate how plastic bottles can be turned into beautiful bracelets.
For those children who would like to learn more about recycling, there will also be an exhibition on display at the library, with a large variety of books on recycling.
