Prime Minister Attends Opening of Parliamentary Year Ceremony on Tuesday

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams attended the opening ceremony of the Parliamentary Year at the Parliament Building on Tuesday.  

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the full Council of Ministers, attended the opening ceremony followed by the subsequent inspection of troops during a uniformed parade given by the Police Force, VKS and a contingent of Royal Dutch Marines. During his outline of the Governing year His Excellency Governor Eugene Holliday emphasized various aspects Government has been working on including initiatives for Civil Servants, the establishment of an Integrity Bureau, the National Development Plan, and International Cooperation and the evaluation of the Kingdom Structure; all items that fall under the auspices of the Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams.
