& Parlatino Committees
The Central Committee of Parliament will meet September 11 in its first session after the official opening of the 2013-2014 parliamentary year which took place on Tuesday morning.
The committee will meet on Wednesday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The three agenda points for the session are: establishing the composition of members of the permanent parliamentary and ad hoc committees; the composition of the Parlatino committees; and the draft National Ordinance related to changes to the 2013 Budget.
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com, and also via www.sxmparliament.org.
