CPO’s encounter extremely dangerous situation

On Saturday, September 7th in the early morning hours two Community Police Officers were sent to Sucker garden in the vicinity of "Gas King", where residents in the neighborhood smelled a strong scent of cooking gas.

On the scene the investigating officers could smell the strong scent of the gas and also hear a "hissing" sound. The owner of the establishment was immediately informed of the situation. Shortly after the owner with initials J.R. arrived on the scene and turned "off" a valve of a large gas cylinder and explained to the officers that the cylinder was left open over night as part of the process to have it cleaned. The officers reprimanded the owner of the establishment for his very irresponsible action and he was told to report to the police station with all the necessary permits to operate the business. Personnel Fire Department who was also on the scene will have this situation investigated.
