The St. Martin Pony Baseball/Softball League 12 U Division Cul De Sac Athletics and Dutch Quarter Indians played against each other at the Belvedere field where the Cul De Sac Athletics won 5-4 from The Dutch Quarter Indians.
It was a very interesting game for both teams, and for spectatators at Belvedere. Anderson James was the winning pitcher for the Cul De Sac Athletics. The Cul De Sac Athletics scored three runs in the first innings, when the Dutch Quarter Indians went to bat they score one run, the second inning was scoreless for both teams while in the third inning the Cul De Sac Athletics scored two more runs to take a comfortable lead. The games continued like this until in the final inning the Dutch Quarter Indians manged to score one more run bringing them one run short of tying the game, therefore Cul De Sac Athletics with 5 runs resulted as winner of the game. The St. Martin Pony league 2013/2014 youth baseball competition expects to start mid September 2013. After the game the "METS" A Class Team had a practice session on the field preparing for the upcoming A class baseball competition.
