S.M.T.T.F to host Round 1 of the Annual Governor’s cup this Saturday

The St.Maarten Table Tennis Federation (S.M.T.T.F.) would like to invite the public to come and support the young talent battle it out this Saturday for the Governor’s cup round 1 and His Excellency Governor Drs. Eugene Holiday will embrace spectators with his presence at the event. 

Last year champion R. Pantophlet will be defending his bragging rights which has already cause some hype within the federation.

Coach Radjouki said that the youngsters have been preparing for this tournament for a while with the goal to capture the Govornor’s trophy and gain the rights to brag within the Federation.

The tournament will be held this Saturday starting sharp at 10am- 3pm at the L.B Scott Sports Auditorium.

Radjouki also explained that the board of S.M.T.T.F is going through a transitional phase and plans will be publicized soon in regards to making table tennis back as one of the top sports on the island.
