Central Committee to Meet Friday on Bosman Kingdom Regulation and Kingdom Law related to Peru

The Central Committee of Parliament will meet August 30 to discuss two agenda points related to Kingdom matters.

The committee will meet on Friday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

 

The first agenda point is related to the proposal of Dutch Member of Parliament (MP) Bosman with respect to the residency regulation of persons from Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten in the Netherlands, which the MP submitted to the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament. The Parliament of Sint Maarten will establish its position at the House session on Friday.

The second agenda point regards the proposed Kingdom law regarding the 12, May, 2011 Treaty on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between the Kingdom the Netherlands and the Republic of Peru. The House is also expected to establish a position on this agenda point.

The aforementioned agenda points were discussed earlier in the week in the Kingdom Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations Permanent Committee.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
