The St. Maarten Ombudsman Dr. Nilda Arduin-Lynch presented the 2012 Year Report of the Office of the Ombudsman to the Prime Minister the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams on Monday.
The main task of the Ombudsman pursuant to the Constitution is the investigating of the conduct and behavior of Government and other Administrative bodies as a result of complaints that are received at the office. Dr. Nilda Arduin-Lynch gave an outline to the Prime Minister about the number of complaints and the Departments within the various Ministries of Government.
