Sint Maarten’s Minister Plenipotentiary Hon. Mathias Voges received a courtesy call at the Sint Maarten House in The Hague last week Thursday from the new Argentine Ambassador Hon. Hector Horacio Salvador.
After the introduction, the Ambassador and Minister Voges discussed cooperation and future relations between both countries.
Argentina is known for its export of meat and related foods and other agricultural products. The economy of the Republic of Argentina is picking up and the Caribbean is becoming a popular tourist destination for the Argentines.
A follow-up meeting will take place at the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina.
Minister Voges presented the Ambassador with a USB stick containing a wealth of information about Sint Maarten and the economic opportunities on the island.
