Prime Minister Presented with Novel Partly Set in St. Maarten

Author Beverly Samuelson a Visitor to the Island Since 1985

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy call and book presentation by American Author Beverly Samuelson. Mrs. Samuelson presented her new novel ‘The Eyes of Greed’, which is partly set on St. Maarten, at her Cabinet recently.

Beverly Samuelson, a visitor to St. Maarten since 1985, was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, to Scandinavian parents. Her career includes writing marketing material for many businesses and writing for a community newspaper. Her first novel "The Eyes of Greed" took two years to complete and is a powerful read. As she begins her next novel, the characters are developing, the plot is beginning to thicken and the story is evolving into a great novel for murder mystery readers.

The Prime Minister commented that, as an avid reader she very much looked forward to reading Mrs. Samuelson’s novel, especially considering that it is partly set in St. Maarten.
