World EMS Leadership Staff Organizations Congratulates Ambulance Dept

The St. Maarten Ambulance Department received a congratulatory message from Worldwide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Leadership Staff organization in connection with EMS Week.

 

The message reads: "We want to take the time to say Congratulations to all the EMS health providers for all that you do in keeping the island of St. Maarten safe.

"EMS is no easy task and it takes committed individuals to participate in this important lifesaving career. As partners assisting with your educational endeavors, we want to recognize your untiring efforts during this special week," the message read from James Vines Jr., Vice President.

Head of the Ambulance Department Cylred Richardson said on Thursday that the department works in partnership with Worldwide EMS Leadership Staff who works in conjunction with Howard University Hospital Outreach Program with respect to the training and upgrading of the credentials of ambulance personnel.

The theme for EMS Week 2013 is "EMS One Mission, One Team."
