Prime Minister Congratulates Emergency Service Providers on EMS Week 2013 Under Theme of One Mission

"Emergency Medical Services do Critical Work to Improve and Strengthen our Communities"

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams attended a special church service at the New Testament Baptist Church in celebration of EMS Week 2013.

 

The Prime Minister, joined by Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports the Honorable Patricia Lourens, attended the celebratory mass congratulating the men and women who work in the Emergency Health and Medical Services.

"On Behalf of the Government and the people of St. Maarten allow me to extend gratitude and appreciation to the dedicated men and women in the emergency medical services for the critical work they do to improve and strengthen the health services in our communities," commented the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister concluded by stating that she further wishes to extend her best wishes for a memorable and successful celebration to the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labor and to the management and staff of the Emergency Medical Services as well as to the organizers of the EMS Week 2013. "Under the theme of One Mission One Team it is truly exemplified by the hard work of these men and women who ensure that the very necessary emergency medical support is provided at all times to the community of St. Maarten."
