TelEm Group has presented three prizes of a brand new netbook computer to winners of an environmental awareness coloring contest held earlier this year.
The contest, held in collaboration with the St. Maarten Pride Foundation, took place during the company’s annual Family Fun Day event when a promise was also made to use the winning entry as the design for an environment awareness T-shirt.
The winners, were MAC school student, Noshavyah Winfield aged 11-years, Alincia Brooks Ferdinand aged six and Francia Adamus aged 12 and both of St. Dominic Primary School.
In recognition of World Environment Day, the three winners joined the St. Maarten Pride Foundation and TelEm Group Marketing and Sales Officer Ms. Cheryl Rismay in a tree-planting ceremony on the company grounds.
"Congratulations to our winners and to everyone who took part in the coloring contest and also congratulations to the St. Maarten PRIDE Foundation for once again bringing public attention to environmental awareness," said Cheryl.
