Nagico & the St.Maarten Police Force joined forced on Friday morning to unveil Road Safety signs. These signs represent the second phase of the Road Safety campaign which was launched earlier this year by the St. Maarten Police in collaboration with NAGICO Insurances.
There are 6 signs in total on Sxm roads one being in Belair, including one on the Longwall road, Zagersgut, Jose Lake ballpark, Harold Jack & Belvedere.
A brief commemorative ceremony was held at the entrance of the Belair Hotel in front of the road sign. Representatives of the Police Force and Nagico Insurances were present to give information about the campaign and the signs.
Inspector H was the head of this initiative who then went to Nagico to help make the signs for the roads
