Female tourist injured in Jet Ski accident

On Wednesday April 24th at approximately 03.15 p.m. a Police Bike Patrol was sent to the Walter Plantz Pier on the Board walk to investigate a Jet Ski accident. On the scene the investigating officers spoke to a witness who stated that a female Jet Ski rider collided into the Walter Plantz Pier at very high speed injuring herself. The victim with the initials A.K. from the Soviet Union (25) visiting the island on board of the cruise vessel Ruby Princess suffered a fractured left arm and right leg and bruises to her body. She was treated on the scene by paramedics and then transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment.

The Jet Ski was totally destroyed and was confiscated for further investigation by the Maritime Police.
