On Friday, April 12th 2013, a special celebration was held to honor five colleagues from the Tax Administration celebrating their 25 year anniversary in Office.
In his speech the Head of the Tax Administration drs. Geert Bergsma mentioned in his speech that the 5 co-workers together have 125 years work experience within the Tax Administration. "With your broad experience, you are an example for the younger colleagues, and a source of information for your leadership. We thank you for that". Minister of Finance, the honorable Mr. Tuitt, handed out special certificates to Mrs. Ruth Nedd, Mrs. Gloria Brown, Mrs. Joan Peterson, Mrs. Anna Philips and Mrs. Joyceline Carty-Lake. "It was a good tradition within the Government of the Netherlands Antilles that on the occasion of a jubilee a special certificate was given. I find this a nice gesture and I want to present on behalf of the Ministry of Finance this special certificate to you".
