MPs to be given tour of Cay Bay Power Plant

Members of Parliament (MPs) on Monday will be given a tour of the GEBE Power Plant in Cay Bay.

The tour has been organized upon the initiative of President of Parliament Hon. Rodolphe Samuel who would like MPs to get a first-hand look at the country’s power generation production facilities prior to a follow-up parliamentary meeting with GEBE management.

The Central Committee of Parliament met on February 19 with respect to the current situation at GEBE utility company.

The agenda point included future plans of GEBE utility company.

The February 19 meeting was requested by Independent Members of Parliament (MP) Hon. Frans Richardson, Hon. MP Patrick Illidge, and MP Hon. Romain Laville.
