USFOL Projects Benefit Community

On 4 March, U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) personnel spent several hours picking up trash that washed up on the beach at Boka Grandi in the Christoffel Park. They collected more than 210 gallons of plastic bottles, caps and Styrofoam, in addition to a discarded refrigerator.

On 6 March, volunteers also spent the morning exercising and interacting with the animals awaiting adoption at Dierenasiel Parrera.

The Community Relations (COMREL) projects are led by the USFOL Chapel Team, in order to reciprocate the hospitality that they have received from the citizens of Curacao
