On Friday, February 22, there was a fault in the transmission cable to the Zagersgut Substation, which led to some outages over the weekend. GEBE technicians worked on Saturday and Sunday to isolate and repair this fault, and it was repaired on Sunday, February 24th .

On Sunday, another fault occurred in the transmission cable to the Pondfill Substation, and later another fault a separate feeder cable. Power has been rerouted to back up cables while repairs were conducted. These two cables are still being repaired and GEBE is working hard to redistribute the load to prevent further outages on Monday.

GEBE apologizes for any inconvenience that was caused.
