Sxm Pony League to send more French national youth baseball players to form part of baseball

As part of promoting the youth baseball players of St.Maarten / St. Martin the St. Martin Pony League is now embarking on a project of preparing and making sure that the players with French nationality/ passport form part of the French National Baseball selections. The intention is that this goes for all the players of the various divisions such as minime – junior – cadet – U21 and the Senior Division Team. We are now busy talking with the FFBSC president Mr.Didier Seminet and the five different national team managers to see what player they need for their particular selection. One of the problems that keep coming up is the fact that the trip to Europe cost plenty money. We believe however that the St. Martin French National Baseball player also have the rights to be on the French National Selection. We have placed some eight players on the French selection and they all turned out to be an asset to the French National Selections. Some of them are even living and playing baseball in France. On St. Martin we have some 70 children from Sandy Ground – St.James – French Quarter St.Georges and even on Dutch St.Maarten with French Passport that could form part of the French National Baseball selection and we intent to assist them further.
