St.James Yankees Bombarded Dutch Quarter Dodgers in Pony League semi final series

In continuation of the St. Martin Pony League playoff series for the 2012 -2013 St. Martin / St. Maarten youth baseball championship the number one seater St. James Yankees played against number four seater and defeated them once again to put their team one step closer to the finals. The game begun by Dutch Quarter batting but was no match for pitcher Junito Clark who dominated the Dodgers to a scoreless first inning. In their turn at bat the Yankees show why they practice batting every day. Pitcher Jusus Enrique could not detain the bats of the Yankees. They scored 8 big runs in the first inning. Even though surprised the Dodgers manage to score two runs in the forth when Joly Gumbs connected double with 2 runners on the bases. Joly then scored on a hit by Kelly Feliciano. The rest of the game were scoreless. In their last at bat St. James once again scored 8 big runs to bring the score to 16 – 3. Dutch Quarter only manage to score one run in their last at bat for a total 16 – 4 game result. St. James now have 2 games win in the best of 5 semi final series. Next week St. James Yankees will play Dutch Quarter Dodgers while St. Georges Cubs will play against Cul de Sac Padres
