Umpire Brathwaite to stand in third Caribbean T20 Final

Gros Islet, St Lucia – Experienced umpire Gregory Brathwaite has been appointed to stand in his third consecutive Caribbean T20 final. He will be joined by Patrick Gustard for the Grand Final between Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana on Sunday night. First ball is 8 pm (7 pm Jamaica Time).

Verdayne Smith has been appointed Television Umpire, Leslie Reifer Jr has been appointed the Fourth Official and Patrick Felix has been appointed Match Referee.

Brathwaite, 43, did the 2011 final when Trinidad & Tobago beat Hampshire and again last year when the Trinis beat Jamaica. He started his international umpiring career back in 2011 and has officiated in five One-Day Internationals and one T20 International.

This is the first Caribbean T20 Final for Gustard, who made his debut in the tournament this year.
