In what could be termed as a complete show of good pitching the Palomino Division team of the St. Martin Pony League Mets / UTS bombarded the Stars with the score of 11 – 10 and 14- 5 to become the 2011 champions.
The finals was a best of three with the last two games as double header. It was a game where Mets / UTS pitchers completely dominated the team of Stars. In this game there was everything to be seen. The pitching staff of the Mets were the mean factor behind the victories. At no time during the entire 6 games and three of the finals games of the tournament had any team manage to put up a serious offense that had the attention of the Mets. Mets pitching, batting and fielding was obviously better. They won convincingly and retain the championship for a second consecutive year. After the game it was celebration time for the Mets /UTS team. They are now the 2010 and 2011 champions.
