Completed VWO at the Milton Peters College on St. Maarten, got a baseball scholarship after been recommended by Rolando Fernandez of the Colorado Rockies and went on to study at Ohio Dominican University in Ohio where he played on the university baseball team the Panthers. Felix was for two consecutive years best batter for the team. Last Year Felix received the male athlete and male student of the year award from the university. Felix was good on the field as well as in the classroom. Felix studied Sports Management and completed his studies after graduating with cumlaude. Felix then went on to play in Paris for the team Templier de Senart. Felix is a French National selection player and played in the recently held European Baseball Championship in Germany and the Czech Republic. On the island Felix played for the 2010 Baseball champions Mets. Felix is expected to spend the holidays on St.Maarten/St.Martin with friends and family before going back to Japan to begin his pro-baseball career.
