Pinto for France National Selection

St. Martin Pony League, the FFBS and the Collectivite of St. Martin intervened in getting one more player for the French National baseball selection.

During the St. Martin Pony League trip to France where they attended the Rouen 2010 Baseball Open in Rouen ,France there was one player who immediately caught the attention of the French baseball directors. He did it with his bat when in one game he blasted two homeruns in one game. This player is Lenrick Pinto. Lenrick played first base for the 2010 St. Maarten Baseball Champions the Mets. Lenrick is now attenting College in Illinios where he is the star player and is called the Caribbean Sensation. 

He was also the star player in many international Pony Caribbean Zone events. In his last Pony Caribbean Zone game in the Bahamas he blasted a game ending homerun when St. Martin defeated Bahamas for the second place on the chart. Lenrick played Kingdom Games and was selected to take part in the recently held Haarlemse Honkbalweek on the selection of the Netherlands Antilleas. Lenrick is one of the many St. Martin players that being assisted to play baseball in Europe. 

Lenrick has been selected to form part of the French national selection and will be show casing for his position on the selection. Lenrick has been recommended to the FFBS because of his conduct on and off the field. Lenrick will be leaving this Friday for France. More St. Martin players will be following depending on the positions required.
