The following are the FORD Cup 2011 Points Standing as at 15th May. NAGICO United C.C. leads the table with 25 points and is the only team to date that has secured a place in the semi-finals, overall there are still 2 matches in the 8th round and the entire 9th round to be completed. There is a tight race between five teams battling for the three remaining semi-final spots.
These teams are as follows;
1. B & C Spartans with 14 points and two games in hand.
2. Future Champs with 21 points and 1 game remaining.
3. Motorworld Kaieteur with 18 points and 1 game remaining.
4. WINAIR Conquerors with 20 points and 2 games remaining.
5. Strikers with 16 points and 2 games to be played.
The remaining matches will be intensely contested as the above teams will all fancy their chances of reaching the semifinals.
The semifinals and final of this tournament is scheduled for Sunday 29th May, 2011.
