The St.maarten Rc Foundation is curently in Miami for the 2011 IFMAR 1/8th IC World Championship. Representing Team Holland are St.maarten very own Driver Rudolf Nicholson and Pit Mechanic Gary Beauperthuy, we have been ask by many attending the event why Holland and not Country St.Maarten?
Team Curacao is present as country Curacao with a very nice Display of their flag ( www.Redrc.net) and has had full support of their goverment and sponsors,such as Insel Air, Napa Auto Parts Curacao etc… should I continue ?
We have been knocking on doors sending request for help to the same airline and to goverment of wich up to now we havent got a reply as to know yes we can or not help,but we will like to extend a thank you to those that took the time to listen to use and what we want to acomplish on the island for those that loves remote control car racing .
This event has started since April 7th with Rounds of control practice in order to make adjustments to cars, timming of your gas tank or pit strategy,we have been having issues getting the car to handle to our driving style,had to change parts after a radio glitch (that is when the radio looses signals) so it has been a financial burden on the team,rebuilding the entire car , but we cant stop now, hoping we can get some extra funds we are on the TQ top 20 best, best lap at 18.1 second races can be view live every day on www.liverc.com
