-Kirk Edwards and Devon Thomas put on stand by

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board confirms that Carlton Baugh and Adrian Barath have sustained hamstring injuries.

Medical specialists have determined that in both cases the players will not be able to resume training for two to three weeks.

The WICB, through the Team Manager, is therefore making an application to the ICC Technical Committee for Baugh and Barath to be replaced in the West Indies World Cup squad.

The players who have been put on standby as replacements are Kirk Edwards and Devon Thomas.

The WICB will await the decision of the ICC Technical Committee.
