In its continuing efforts to assist frontline teams on St. Maarten during the current COVID-19 pandemic, NAGICO Insurances has taken steps to ensure the adequate supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Mental Health Foundation.
“We are happy to assist the Mental Health Foundation in getting the gear they need, because we know that they too carry out an important function,” stated NAGICO’s Marketing Manager, Lisa Brown. “People’s state of mind and mental health is important, and we need to ensure it is given the level of priority that it deserves. These professionals can help prevent issues and help people learn how to effectively manage emotional and mental stress as well as recognize signs in ourselves, our children and family”.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is the masks, gowns, gloves, and other equipment that Healthcare employees rely on to protect themselves and their patients from being infected and infecting others.
This handover of personal protective equipment is an example of the strong partnership between NAGICO Insurances and the Mental Health Foundation.
“These critical supplies will help support our frontline and healthcare employees as we assist the government with its response to COVID-19. I would like to express my appreciation to NAGICO Insurances for funding these much-needed personal protective equipment to the healthcare employees at the Mental Health Foundation,” stated MHF executive assistant Cyrille Brooks.
