Head of the Collective Prevention Service (CPS) Dr. Virginia Asin, has held discussions with the Educare Foundation headed by Sabrina Vrutaal to discuss and explore a public private partnership.
The objective of the meeting was to share information about each organization; foster close collaboration and look for opportunities for a more structural working relationship.
Areas of cooperation envisioned are: prenatal care; family planning; childhood development; breastfeeding promotion; upgrading and improving and expansion of public health services; expanding reach services.
Community Development Family and Humanitarian Affairs (CDFHA) was also part of the meeting with Educare. CDFHA wishes to pursue further discussions with the foundation in outlining areas of cooperation.
Both CPS and CDFHA commended the board of Educare and they both look forward to developing a mutual beneficial structural relationship where government and civil society work together.
CPS is a department within the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour.
