The consensus among the over 200 attendees at Leadercast 2015 hosted by Victorious Living Foundation, was that Leadercast was inspiring, impressive, enlightening and rejuvenating. “It was really a pleasure and an inspiration to attend Leadercast once again. I was very impressed with the professional reception of the staff and the organization of the whole event. I am proud to see our local people so involved in professionalizing and upgrading in all fields of production and service. I was happy to see the many different faces from well known organizations and services on the island. I felt touched by the very useful words and tips from Bill McDermott. He spoke from a place quite familiar to the needs of the Government of St. Maarten in general. [That is,] less stressful procedures, less bureaucracy, more work harmony; facilitation and flow of the execution of projects instead of stagnation and the need for recognition etc.,” stated veteran police officer and instructor at the St. Maarten Justice Academy, Ms Keturah Brown, of Leadercast 2015.
She further stated, “I have been inspired to think even bigger dreams and work smarter instead of harder; to network and to empower others and to assume responsibility for my role in the change process as well. By this I am saying to [Victorious Living Foundation], the producers of Leadercast SXM, your endeavors are successful when the attendees like me have been inspired and challenged to put the tips and tools we have learnt at the Leadercast 2015 to use in our daily work environment and put our focus on the end products and results.”
Dr. Alicia Liverpool of The David Company who has attended all three Leadercast events which Victorious Living has hosted from 2013 until 2015, with her leadership team, stated: “Personal and leadership development are key components for us at The David Company and so Leadercast is a highly anticipated event. This year proved to be impacting and refreshing for us as leaders in an industry where we are constantly reminded of the need to be relevant. Each presenter at Leadercast 2015 brought out bravery in its truest sense with their unique styles and experiences. Each voice highlighted the wisdom, tenacity, and perseverance of what brave leadership resembles. ‘The Brave Ones’ is a theme which will be etched in our minds for some time to come, acting as a reminder that “If we want to bring some change, we must step forth.”—Malala Yousafzai.
This year’s Leadercast was held on May 8th at the Belair Community Center in a capacity filled room. Victorious Living, empowers, enlightens and reconciles individuals, communities and nations.
