Inspectorate of Ministry TEATT Executes Controls of Illegal Vendors

The Inspectorate of Ministry Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications (Ministry TEATT), executed several inspection controls of mobile vendors to ascertain whether they had the proper documents in place to ply their trade.
The control was carried out by Economic Controllers from Ministry TEATT on May 13 of vendors selling fruits, vegetables.

Mobile vendors operating from parking lots on the Bush Road and A.J.C. Brouwer Road were issued a warning and have been summoned to the Inspectorate at Ministry TEATT in order to start the process of legalizing their trade.

The Inspectorate advises that these types of controls will continue and all vendors and businesses must have the necessary permits in order to conduct economic activity in the country prior to engaging in commerce transactions.

The Inspectorate can be reached by calling 542-4509/4511 or stop by Tamarindesteeg #16, (The Yellow Building) or via email: idez.inqueries@sintmaartengov.org
