Mobile Health Bus hits the Districts

Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour (Ministry VSA) Collective Prevention Services (CPS) Mobile Health Bus will be at the J. Cooper and Jose H. Lake Ballpark on Wednesday afternoon, January 28 to carry out screening to persons who are interested.

The bus will be at the aforementioned area from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Screenings for glucose, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, weight and BMI, hip and waist ratio, will be carried out on the spot.

This effort is being carried out in collaboration with a team from the American University of the Caribbean and physicians in training who can collect data and perform the screenings.

The mobile health bus will be visiting a district each month or according to health calendar observances of the department.
